He has played many different genres of music including jazz, folk, salsa, rock, African on instruments including drum kit, guitar, bass, marimba, and didgeridoo. Matthew has been teaching music since 2003 in a diversity of settings including day cares, youth groups, schools, adult community classes, and seniors homes. Over the past 2 years Matthew has taught a very successful African drumming class in Edmonton and led a monthly drum circle. He currently works at Inner City High School in Edmonton.
